Currency: All programs are quoted in USD and are payable on-line with same currency. You will be asked to insert the Security Codes of your credit card (Verified Visa or Secure MasterCard). Make sure to have it ready with you while purchasing.
Payment: Once accepted program and proposal by clients, full payment will be required to confirm services and bookings. Kindly send copy of transaction correctly done to info@goldenniletravel.com Travel agencies payments are subject to contract agreements.
Rates and Price Variations: Golden Nile Travel reserves the right to vary prices and rates in the event of changes in exchange rates or price rises made by wholesalers or other suppliers or in case of any increase on entrance fees or any change on governmental taxes or sales taxes.
If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you are required to pay the increase when notified by us or you may cancel the booking which may result in cancellation fees.
Golden Nile Travel is not liable in any way if any increase occurs. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular product at the time of quoting and these rates may change prior to the travel date. All prices are subject to availability.
Vouchers: Vouchers and/or travel documents will be issued only when GN Accounting Department will confirm payment transaction has been correctly proceed.
Children Policy: Children from 0 to 2,99 years old are considered as Infant and therefore free of charge. From 3 years old clients are required at moment of proposal request, to inform in written of the age and exact date of birth of the child.
Cancellation Policy
From 30 to 22 days prior to arrival, 25% of full package rate will be charged as a cancellation fees.
From 21 to 15 days prior to arrival, 50% of full package rate will be charged as a cancellation fees.
From 14 days till day of check in, 100% of full package rate will be charged as a cancellation fees.
No show on the day of check in, 100% of full package rate will be charged as a cancellation fees.
Services details: While proceeding an on-line booking you will receive a detailed proposal with all services included and not in the program you will purchase. Please make sure you read it carefully.
Hotel categories: All properties featured in this website and included in the programs are selected by Golden Nile Travel. Usually properties are rated according to International Star Categories, but not all destinations use this type of rating. In that case however properties will be of “Touristic Granted Category” according to law of the Government in destination. Restriction to minors: hotels in UAE are not allowed to check in minor aged guests, unless accompanied only by their parents.
Overbooking: In case of overbooking of any hotel, boat or camp Golden Nile Travel will re-protect clients in another property of same or higher category. If possible clients will be informed of the alternative property before arrival at destination. In no case Golden Nile Travel will be liable for overbooking.
Meals and drinks: Drinks are always excluded unless otherwise specified in travel documents. For meals kindly refer to voucher or travel document specification.
Meaning of transport: All transfers and tours are by air condition vehicles. Type of car depends on number of people per booking and type of roads. In case of tours on off-shore roads and safaris vehicles are 4x4 or SUV which are fitted with safety belts and air-conditioning and licensed to carry from four up to six passengers, excluding the driver.
In case of safaris or special programs involving off-road driving, passengers should not participate if they have any pre- existing medical conditions (for example heart ailments or back problems). For this reason we regret that we are unable to accept expectant mothers, passengers with heart, neck and back problems and passengers less than two years of age.
Golden Nile Travel will not be liable in case of problems accursed cause of information not provided correctly.
Tours, schedules and routes: Operating schedules and routes of some of our tours and safaris may change during the Holy Month of Ramadan and the summer months. We reserve the right to cancel any tour or alter any part of the tour in case of force major or bad weather conditions. In particular Sea trips are subject to Captain decisions for the best of passengers and crew.
Guides: all programs tours and safaris are conducted in the English language. We can provide guiding and assistance in any other language if previously booked. This might be subject to a supplement.
Tips: Tips are never included into programs and tours. Kindly be informed that tipping is a good habit in all destinations showed in this website and we will be happy to suggest you upon booking about it. Ask your Golden Nile Specialist.
Photography: Clients must always respect the “No-photography” signs and they are reminded that photography of military and some government installations is prohibited. Moreover with respect to local customs, always ask before taking pictures especially when it comes to women and children.
Passports and Visas Golden Nile Travel is not responsible for personal travel documents or visa arrangements. Clients must make sure to have the correct documentation and check visa arrangements with the office in charge in their country before travelling. Particular attention must be given to the regulations on travel with children. In case of clients not be able to travel because of not correct documents Golden Nile Travel will consider booking as No Show and therefore not refundable.
Insurance: Personal medical or general travel insurance of passengers is never included into Golden Nile Travel packages. However clients must be in possession of it during their travelling.
Complaints: Golden Nile Travel will always grant the maximum effort to provide always the highest level of services and the most satisfaction of its guests. However in case of any complaint rising up, Golden Nile Travel must be informed on the spot, in order to be able to intervene immediately. In no case complaints will be taken into consideration if received after 30 days from clients’ departure or not properly documented. In case of any disputes the jurisdiction of The Republic of Egypt will be applicable.
