Arrival at Muscat International Airport . Visit to Al Alam Palace, the palace where the sultan works and Bait al Zurbair, the ethnographic museum where you can visit a reconstruction of a real village of Oman. Continuing along the coastal road you will arrive at the famous Muttrah. It?s the old port area, the most typical and lively because the seat of the Souk (market). A tour through the stalls to discover the products of local crafts and in particular that of Khanjar, wonderful daggers carved in silver and ivory. Return to hotel and overnight.

After breakfast, domestic flight to Salalah. Departure by 4x4 to the famous "Empty Quarter", which is the Rub al Khali desert, the most difficult of all the deserts for its uninterrupted sand dunes. Stop in Shisr to visit the lost city of Ubar, once a center for the exchange of caravans which stopped here for refreshment and source items and continue on the route of the incense trade. Arrival at the village of Al Hashman, 12-15 homes at the most. The village is very quaint and here spend the night in tents. (full board and drinks)

After breakfast start the actual safari in the desert of Rub Al Khali. 3 nights camp in the dunes and under starry skies from the Thousand and One Nights. During the day, only endless sand dunes, camels and some caravan of nomads, but absolutely no cars, nor towns. (full board and drinks)

After breakfast departure to Wadi Shuwaymiyah, a real Eden. Afternoon dedicated to hike and to discover the oasis of trees, water and grazing animals. The oasis is famous for its limestone formations that descend in terraces creating a waterfall effect. (full board and drinks)

After breakfast it's off to the Hallaniyat Island. On arrival check-in at the lodge. In the afternoon boat ride around the island for a nice adventure which is among dolphins, whales and sea turtles. (full board and drinks)

After breakfast return by boat to Salalah and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon free for individual activities and to enjoy the city and do some shopping at the Souk of incense. (Breakfast)

After breakfast visit the city and its surroundings: the Maritime Museum of El Balid, the forts of Taqa and Mirbat and the legendary Sumharam or port Kori Rori, where legend says, has lived the Queen of Sheba. All this through the famous Wadi where Frankincense trees grow from which we extract the precious resin incense. (Breakfast)

Breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight back.
